My husband likes to call the energetic aspect of my Thai massage work "juju magic." When we met, he really meant it. But, bless his heart, he comes to nearly all of my classes, even though he worries he'll be a distraction with jokes and sidebar comments (and he never is).
So what did my meat-and-potatoes husband take away for Sunday's Sensing Energy Class?
Well, he noticed how hard it is to walk slowly during walking meditation for a New York salesman.
He felt intense heat in his heart during the Chakra meditation.
He passed a ball of energy back and forth with a partner and felt it clearly (big grin on his face).
And, together with his practice partner, they tapped into the spiraling energy deep in the shoulder joint with a great Thai massage move (way to go, Slava!).
My husband is my touchstone. In many things. When he comes to a class and shares this much of himself and opens to playing with "juju magic," I know I have done my job. For him, and for every person in the room.

When we step forward as a student and join a group, we open ourselves to possibility. My work is built around gathering people together for that moment of possibility. Last Sunday was such a day. Man, I love my job (big grin on MY face).
Thank you to each and every one of you who opened to the possibility. I hope you share what you learned widely.
If you missed it, keep an eye on the class calendar. The Sensing Energy Class will be offered again in winter!
